This item is exactly what I need, it fits my 2008 BMW 535i E60. The elements work as intended, but still there are a few things to note and the reason why I don't fully recommend it. When the item arrived the item was made in China which is no big deal I just hope it lasts a long time. Second, the metal hole that the screws were supposed to screw into was unthreaded. I was a mechanic 20 years ago so I was lucky that I still had threading tools, after cutting the holes I was able to install the part. The unit makes a slight noise when the door closes, this wasn't in the original unit and other doors don't close, but I can live with that now as long as I can order an original part.
