I want to give an honest review so others can make the right decision when choosing a pen. Skin tones and a new set of monarchs. I believe this is the ideal middle ground that we are aiming for. BRIGHT AND UNIQUE COLORS AMAZING! These pens have fantastic colors with rich pigments and are the PERFECT SET OR addition to your PRISMA or Arteza set. Set or any other wax based set. CORE SOFTNESS/BLEND/STRENGTH Rods are a bit harder not in the way they lay but in the handling, strong, sharpen to a good point and you can apply more pressure and still have an oily coat without breaking the pin or a huge wax coating. I do notice a bit of dust but that's to be expected, it's still a pencil after all :) Mixing was simple and easy to mix with my PRISMA Prime set and Arteza set, they go really well together and add POP and depth the myPictures.COST IS THE GREATEST TIME AFTER APPLICATION. For around 120.00 you get all cans including skin tones - so one of the top spots with a PREMIUM PRICE, but it's worth it! They break them down into sets at an affordable price. That way you can buy sets as you go rather than all at once, which is a nice touch. And each set is unique, colors are not repeated. in containers or boxes with easier access. So if I were to suggest something it would be to ship them in a pencil case containing all 144 colors and then sell canned replacement family color sets. Thought. Maybe add a breakdown of the colors for sale like red/brown, blue/grey etc. Interchangeable lenses with color families would be great. All in all I'll keep them and see how they perform long term, I'm happy with the performance and softness. You are right in that happy middle.
