I like their wire design. They're close to the breadboard, so you're less likely to pull them out while you're working on the breadboard. The only problem with them is that the wire is pretty soft. This makes it a bit difficult to push wire into breadboards with holes that are "sticky" and don't easily feed the wire. Unfortunately, the breadboard I received with this kit is one of those breadboards. However, I tried these jumper wires with a breadboard I already had, with looser holes, and found that it worked quite well, but not as well as other jumper wires I have that are made of a harder metal.
