May be user error but I manually tightened the tow strap on my car and then used a wrench after but no later than two weeks after like it was me I noticed it wasn't there anymore, the only thing left was a screw so I'm pretty sure it just unscrewed again, it might have been user error so if you're buying it be sure sure but i wasn't happy it came loose after re-tightening it with a wrench it might be my fault for not over tightening it but then again by design it's a really good tow strap.
