There is so much wrong with that. First, the disc shown is NOT the one received. There are no marks on the disc so you have no idea what you have. Okay, no big deal if it works. Yes. IF. As an audio CD player, it worked perfectly. I haven't tried it as a DVD player because I bought it to use as a burner for my laptop which doesn't have an optical drive. No matter what files I threw at him, he complained that there wasn't enough space on the hard drive. BLANK Audio CD. Just to be sure I tried several drives - they all work fine on all my other systems. Then comes the fact that the power situation is somewhat misleading. The power connector on the back is a standard barrel jack, so you might think the power supply is a wall-mounted or brick-built power supply. You are wrong. That's one of the reasons I chose it over all the others. The barrel connector simply plugs into a USB socket, meaning this drive, like most others, requires two USB ports to function. I think you could use a USB power adapter, but with a "power cord" that's only six inches long, you'll also need a USB extension cable. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS VEHICLE.
