Review on Flowmaster 71415 2.25-Inch Inlet/Outlet Flow Fx Muffler, Round, 14-Inch, Brushed by Jacob Rasmussen

Installed on my 1996 Thunderbird 4.6V-8. The original mufflers have been removed and replaced with turn-down mufflers. The car was too noisy inside, making a terrible rumble at highway speeds. Installed near the fuel tank under the factory heat shield. Fits fine, but I had to trim the flanges on each end of the muffler by about 2 inches on each side. Removed external noise and rumble in the cabin. The price of this all-glass stainless steel package is only $5 more than an aluminized steel block from other well-known brands, and it should last a lot longer, so it's a decent value. Now I can drive down the street and talk without yelling at myself. be heard
