    Overall not bad.

    The muffler is pretty good and makes a good sound on my v8. It's honestly a shame I left my truck with a straight pipe instead of putting that muffler on. If you want something quiet and not loud, get this muffler, but if you want a classic V8 rumble I recommend removing the muffler. I plan to eventually remove the muffler and discard the muffler.

    Good price and good sound

    Installed on my 1996 Thunderbird 4.6V-8. The original mufflers have been removed and replaced with turn-down mufflers. The car was too noisy inside, making a terrible rumble at highway speeds. Installed near the fuel tank under the factory heat shield. Fits fine, but I had to trim the flanges on each end of the muffler by about 2 inches on each side. Removed external noise and rumble in the cabin. The price of this all-glass stainless steel package is only $5 more than an aluminized steel block

    He does what he has to do.

    Five stars for processing quality and fast delivery. It's a resonator, meaning it helps smooth out harsh exhaust pulses. There really isn't much, if any, to muffle the exhaust. That's not intentional, because if you cut off your muffler and tape this resonator to your car instead, you'll annoy your neighbors and probably a nice cop who'll talk to you about the decibel level your newly modified exhaust is running at. So - on my Fiat 500 with 1.4L engine there is a catalytic converter, after that
