Constant buffering on Plex Live TV

The HDHomeRun app works and streams great. However, the user interface in the app is terribly poor. But when I try to watch via Plex (PMS 1.23.5.4862-7000, on Synology DS220+, DSM 7.0), all HD channels are buffered PERMANENTLY. (SD channels look fine.) I moved the tuner and antenna to the other side of the house, same problem. However, since the HDHomerun app seems to be working fine, I suspect it's an issue with Plex. It seems like a lot of people on the internet have this problem too. I don't know how/if I can solve this on my own. And since the HDHomeRun app is so bad, I'm just returning it. upset. Especially for the price.
