The HDHomeRun app works and streams great. However, the user interface in the app is terribly poor. But when I try to watch via Plex (PMS 1.23.5.4862-7000, on Synology DS220+, DSM 7.0), all HD channels are buffered PERMANENTLY. (SD channels look fine.) I moved the tuner and antenna to the other side of the house, same problem. However, since the HDHomerun app seems to be working fine, I suspect it's an issue with Plex. 8/23/21 Background: I live in Ann Arbor Michigan we have 4k 4k ATSC 3.0 channels. They operate at different frequencies than their standard HD versions. I use a Plex server to share this tuner with my TVs, cell phones, and Roku computers. I would only recommend buying the Flex 4k if you don't have any other HDHomeRun tuners. Do not upgrade to this model yet. I only get audio on ATSC 3.0 channels using VLC on my computer, I can't get audio on ATSC 3.0 channels using the HDHomeRun app on my phone, LG Smart TV or Fire TV. It works great with older ATSC 1.0 stations. So if you don't upgrade, you shouldn't have any problems. It's important to note that this isn't the Flex 4k's fault. I don't have a CODEC yet. Recently cut the cable. My first try at a local channel was Locast, which I got to use for about three weeks before they shut down shop after a legal battle over their non-commercial status.
