falling apart outsole: trendy sneakers

I had just finished my college football career and wanted a pair of running shoes that could be used as all-around athletic wear. These shoes were great until I put them on the basketball court. I've only worn them lightly before and mostly for running (I probably rode them 15 miles max). After about 30 minutes of play (maybe less) the blue part of the sole on the right shoe started falling off. This made it incredibly difficult to cut or move quickly with that foot. I didn't wear them for a while until I recently brought them back to indoor court. This time the left sole started falling off within 10 minutes, causing my foot to slip every few steps (I twisted my ankle just after the left sole started falling apart). Therefore, after probably a few weeks of use, I can no longer use them at the moment because both soles are falling off over a large area. They're fine for everyday wear and running, but as they're advertised as athletic shoes and fail miserably on regular indoor floors, I'm giving them one star.

Pros
  • mesh upper with tpu heel counter
Cons
  • crumpled packaging
