I was very disappointed with the quality of the plates, glasses and crockery. The jars were very thin - for adults they were only that thin for fear that children would squeeze them too tightly. The plates weren't very strong either. I bought this set to use year after year for the holidays. Unfortunately many of the plates have cracked during use and again more concerning than the fact that they are brittle, when I washed and dried the plates the paint on the rim immediately chipped. I don't want to think about what my family and guests might digest! The whole box went with the disposal. The napkins were the highest quality part of the box.
