They're damn loud. I wasn't a fan of loud exhaust, so the first few times I was a little confused by the volume. I've gotten over it now. Pipes are very easy to install. Just make sure you use a new pair of clamps to attach the pads to the tubes. I'm reusing old ones and had a leaking exhaust. Replaced clamps for backup. Sometime in the future there will be silent deflectors. Overall, the exhaust systems really bring out the character of the bike and amplify the deep rumble that Harleys are known for. The new note is simply music to the ears.
