Used these bags on a 5 day 240 mile bike ride in Missouri in September. You survived the journey well. All of my gear stayed dry and clean throughout the trip. The only complication is that one of the top clips sometimes didn't close properly on the bike rack rod. A little pressure and it clicks into place. Very happy with these bags and their functionality, sometimes cheaper than other brands. I'm going to get 2 more for a new bike with a front rack.
