Non-oily bronzed rubber. More of a very dull grey.

If you really want oiled bronze to match other lights you already have. That's not it! You will be disappointed. The body color is more of a dark gray with a bronze cast as you can see in their advert. However, most cork is dark gray or even opaque. I'm keeping it because it's on my bedroom door, but if it came through my foyer door and was seen daily by guests, or even by myself, I'd return it. Note: (r)ubbed is misspelled on the packaging. The box says (b)ubbed.😐🤭😃
