My daughter has just started ballet (she is 4 years old) so I ordered her these shoes. They are a light pink shade that my daughter loves and have a little padding on the pads and on the heel. They don't tie like some flats, but the elastic strap keeps the shoe firmly in place for my daughter. We've been using these sneakers for almost two months and the strap still holds tight. I ordered 9M and my daughter wears 9-9 1/2 in booties. I would recommend her to all ballet moms-to-be.
