Can carry quite a bit of weight.
We put it on the top bunk bed for our daughter. It fits well and was pretty easy to install. I just had to place the slats so I could mount the side rails. A little difficult, but possible. We had a total of £400. on the top bunk without a single creaking of the boards. And my daughter (9 years old) says that it is comfortable to sleep on it.
