Review on ☕ Comfee 1.7L Stainless Steel Electric Tea Kettle - BPA-Free, Cordless with LED Light - Fast Boil & Auto Shut-Off (1500W) by Tim Morrison

Our 6 year old Korean stainless steel electric water heater has a short circuit. Although the boiler is still working, it was inconvenient for us to continue using it without lights as both my wife and I are deaf. We also felt that it had served us well enough to discard it. I found this kettle at Revain's on the Sunday morning after Thanksgiving and placed my order around 8am. Voila! He arrived at noon! After lunch, my wife and I went shopping and found the same kettle in the shops, but much more expensive. We definitely prefer this boiler to the old one: both the clear glass and the romantic blue LED lighting let us know what's going on in the boiler. Tech note: The datasheets say 1500 watts of power is an overstatement as using Ohm's Law that would mean 13.6A of current which is more than most of our home circuits at 10A. I believe the correct wattage is 800 Di Die The shorted bulb is built into the bottom on/off mechanism and cannot be easily removed for replacement. I think only a seasoned curmudgeon would be willing to go to the trouble of replacing a tiny lightbulb. Update January 4th, 2021: The energy meter shows a boiler consumption of 11.44A and 1400W. The boiler must use a 15 amp circuit.
