Mclassic and LG CX don't play well in 1440p because the EDID settings don't match between the two devices. You can use this device to set a custom EDID between Mclassic and your TV to force 1440p output from Mclassic. The only problem is that you can't do this with the basic EDID software settings used to program the Gofanco Prophecy. The workaround I found was to get the other monitor's EDID information, which works natively with Mclassic. Luckily I have an LG 1440p PC monitor and was able to create an EDID binary that I could program for the Gofanco Prophecy, which fixed the problem with my TV.
