My husband makes smoothies for breakfast every morning. He adds kale or spinach, berries, protein powder, chia seeds, flaxseed, peanut butter, and other things. We had a 1000w Ninja Bullet that sounded like it was on its last breath and wouldn't mix anymore. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on another blender per serving, I saw this one for a lot less and asked to try it. The 1000w and 600w box is the same just labeled differently so I was nervous when I received it, we have the right one - 1000w. The single serve jar is large at 24oz which is perfect for this. It comes with a sealed lid that we will never use and a lid that you can drink from. The blender is quieter than the Ninja, which is less taxing on our little kids' ears. He says it doesn't seem as powerful as Ninja as he has to press it a little longer to blend it, but they're both 1000w and it blends his kale well. He wipes it down with a mixture of soap and water when he's done cleaning, and hopefully that will last a while. I like that it's small and doesn't take up much desk space. In just a few weeks of use, the MAX line almost faded. Not that big of a problem, but it can cause overflow later in life. There is also some dripping when running - probably due to pressure and my husband doesn't mind, but it would bother me if I was making smoothies every day. The blades are interesting - 2 sharper from below, 4 blunter from above. I was worried it wouldn't cut cabbage, but it gets the job done and probably protects fingers while peeling. Super great buy for the price compared to other similar ones. Edit: Our first died completely after 2 months. Just stopped working. I contacted the company through Revain and they sent us a new one. This one doesn't bleed which is great so I hope it lasts longer.
