I got this because my old shop stereo (yes, really old.….dual cassette decks, 5 CD tray, AM/FM) bit the dust after an electrical storm.Since the speakers were still good & input comes from a remote Sirius receiver, all I needed was an amp & this got the job done well. Plenty of power for my use, but no equalizer. Sounds good even without the boost of an equalizer.Don't forget to also order a power supply as that's not included. I got the Nobsoundhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074J81XRB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Yes, it will spark when you plug it into the amp if the power supply is plugged into the wall first. Recommend plugging into the wall outlet last. Seller states the sparking is ok & causes no damage, but it can surprise you.
