It says 12 ounces. in the description is not 16 or 20oz. This is not a mug or a durable coffee mug. It's also not designed to be rough in everyday use. Would you wear a diamond of hope if you were digging in your garden? You will get an image. This is an elegant and very beautiful mug for tea, coffee or other beverages. It's for special times and those quiet moments. For the inner woman who wants to be special. DO NOT WASH THIS IN THE DISHWASHER! I hand wash this with cold water and dry it immediately with a microfiber towel and keep it separate from other dishes. I bought these for myself. Although I will be buying at least 2 more of these for my wife. Oh my god, she's going to marry me again. Whatever has irritated her in the past, present and whatever I have in the future, she will forgive me as soon as she picks up these cups.
