Green and black pieces in the water

My turtle loves it but I'm worried about its safety because the green "grass" falls into the water. And the black underside of it is torn off. For now, since he loves it so much, all I have to do is keep netting his tank to get the parts out. It's not a bit barely noticeable anywhere, much like confetti crumbs in water. Attention buyers Update: It broke after 2 days, don't buy this
