Review on 📏 Steelex M1085 3" Digital Micrometer by Richard Alemayehu

I bought this 2-3 inch primarily to measure Chevy and Jeep crankpins and bearing bores, bearing bores in combination with a graduated bore gauge. .I found the build quality to be exceptional, the C-frame is sturdy and the display and controls are just what I needed, easy to use and easy to read. it is continuously mounted on the measurement surface to ensure accurate and reproducible measurements. I like that the thimble has a large diameter as it is easy to hold and control and can be rotated down and back when measuring to get the correct spindle resistance. I found the device to be super accurate to within 1/10th of 1000. Great deals on IP-54 out there and this unit is good.
