ULTRASOURCE - Not Quite Ultimate

While ULTRASOURCE may claim to be the greatest online shopping destination for home and kitchen supplies, kitchen and dining items, and personal protective equipment, my experience with their website left me feeling less than impressed. To begin, the organization of the website is chaotic and confusing, which makes it difficult to locate the information that you require. Although the products themselves are explained in excruciating detail, the photographs that accompany the products are sometimes unclear and poorly lighted, making it difficult to get a clear picture of what it is that you are actually purchasing. Additionally, while ULTRASOURCE boasts a broad choice of products, many of them are costly and bad quality. I placed an order for a set of kitchen knives that were described as being of "premium quality," but when they arrived, I found that they were fragile and lacking in sharpness. To add insult to injury, the customer service was incompetent and nasty when I attempted to return the knives. I had to jump through hoops and through a confusing returns process just to get my money back. In conclusion, while ULTRASOURCE may offer some nice products, their website is confusing and difficult to use, and their pricing are generally too exorbitant for the quality of their products. Because of the subpar quality of their customer support, I am unable to recommend ULTRASOURCE as the best place to do all of your shopping.

Pros
  • Products of a superior quality
Cons
  • product availability issues every so often
