I purchased this device half a year ago, and I have followed the directions to replace the water every 72 hours by just using filtered water. But somehow I decided to see what was happening on the lower bowl (station) for a couple of weeks there the water turned into mucus , it stagnates and sours there, in order to wash off the plaque and the "snot" you need to try hard, there are grooves and notches that you just can't wipe with a rag (be careful with the lamp, it's under its lid!) Generally speaking, I still deal with the trouble once a week. The device's assembly is hazy; I had to experiment with the station and the bowl to figure out how to articulate them, and the top lid of the parsley container - which turn to install it - is not immediately obvious. The bowl cannot be removed easily because there is no pull handle; I created one out of paper tape instead. Setting the sound notification in on mode when the device is turned on in the network is also extremely annoying because it means the device's prior status is not remembered. Purchased an external humidity sensor (Xiaomi Zeegbee + gateway of the third version) and connected to MiHome and Alice without issue. Set automation to turn on and off, but not without tambourine dancing (added additional software control through the UDYA API) Important! The recommended humidity level won't be reached if the room temperature is below 22 degrees (this is exactly what happens to me, it may be different for others - everything is individual)
