Good for my purpose.

I've finally designed some circuits on a prototyping board that I want to make permanent. Although the projects I've done with them made me want to use strip boards instead, I don't regret picking them up. The assembly allows for a lot of flexibility, and even with my mediocre soldering skills, I was able to solder permanent circuitry onto one of these boards without too much trouble. My last project turned out to be more compact than I expected, so I had to remove some material from the circuit board I used in the project. It wasn't hard, I took it to a socket grinder and cut the material until the board fit into the case I 3D printed. If you don't have power tools handy like a saw or grinder, the only option I can think of is to use a small hacksaw.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Big and bulky
