Review on Toyo Observe G3-Ice 235/45 R17 94 winter by Michal Cedronski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

On different cars and in different years, I used different winter studded tires - Continental, Nokia, Norman, Bridgestone. absolutely all of them were noisy, and some of them howled at speeds above 60. This rubber is the first one that absolutely does not make any noise / howl including when driving in the spring on clean asphalt. She is absolutely predictable in her behavior, without tricks and surprises in any situations. After the first year of operation, ~20% of the spikes flew out, but after the loss process stopped completely. In the 5th season, I finished it with studs, it took only 42 repair studs on 4 wheels. This season, already the 8th! The tires are still in excellent tread condition, no peeling or small cracks at all. But the spikes themselves, of course, have already been ground down thoroughly. In each season, I drive on them an average of 5 thousand km., In theory, you can ride it for another year without worrying. But I decided to take exactly the same new ones, because the tires are beyond praise! Auto Outlander XL.

Pros
  • Silent at any temperature and at any speed, wear-resistant, predictable control, not rolled, not oaky in cold weather.
Cons
  • In the first year, I lost 20% of the spikes, and the losses ended there. There are no other disadvantages of rubber!
