Review on Fat Shark FSV1234 600TVL Camera by Josh Zepeda

OK - I've been playing around with the remote control car by the pool (salt water about 3.5 ppt). Guilty. The camera was turned off and lowered to a depth of about 3 feet for about a minute. I immediately rinsed with deionized water and then disassembled it - rinsed the board with flux remover on both sides (being careful not to scratch the sensor coatings). Dried up and it still works. Later I conformally coated both sides of the PCB with industrial paint. Sealed and edges sealed with CC silicone. To make it truly waterproof I'd have to close the mating connector and really seal it, but so far it's better than splash proof - it comes on the front of the RC car. I have a new replacement part just in case. I would use this board on an RC boat but not below the waterline (on purpose).
