Review on Delta RP54977 Lahara Aerator Chrome by Jose Pacyga

Always buy two, good for aerator

. If you have one of these models, you will often need to replace the taps in your faucets. We moved into our new home about four years ago and have three faucets that they use. During this time I have replaced the aerator on all three at least twice or more. After all the construction work was done in our annex building, I was hoping that the incoming water would be a little cleaner. That didn't happen. If you have a water system that filters better, you may never need to touch these things. Otherwise, have it ready when the water flow stops. Why? If you simply remove the aerator, the water simply rushes to one side or the other in all directions. Replacement is fairly easy with the included plastic tool. A small hand mirror also helps. The tool has teeth that slide into the device to remove or replace it. Doing this upside down while looking in the mirror is difficult, but with a little practice it can be done. In the future I plan to replace three mixers with more advanced ones. Fortunately, things are not very expensive. Delta manufactured its products in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The box now says "Made in China".

Pros
  • . Highly rated by testers for hold and durability.
Cons
  • . Not as thick as other options.
