This aerator and key RP54977 is too big for SOME Delta Lahara BATHROOM faucets. It's about the same diameter as a standard faucet aerator, about 15/16 inches. It was too big for my faucet. Delta, which was very helpful. The smaller model should fit my Lahara lever bath faucet purchased around 2011. Delta RP51345 1.5 GPM Lahara Aerator, Chrome

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

The key fits the older Delta faucet 521-DST-A but the aerator doesn't fit

I don't know where I found this, it's the right kit for 521-DST-A ca. 2011 (Model Matcher Revain replied "Not sure" about her defense). So the key fits, but the aerator is too long/deep. However, it is cheaper than a single wrench. And the wrench doesn't match the newer Delta bathroom faucet - none of the plumbing kits came with a wrench. Some kind of bluff they get - a new aerator and key for each mixer model. I wonder if they learned that from printer manufacturers and their myriad of…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Actually I don't like it, it's ok

If you have this style of aerator you need this tool

I purchased this item because I needed the included "tool" to install/remove the aerator. Without them, it's almost impossible to remove these aerators from your faucets (I have 3) for cleaning. Sometimes the tool comes separately, but the price is almost the same, so now I have a spare aerator too. Even with a tool, removing the aerator is a cumbersome process as the "notches" are very small and the tool pops out easily. I took off a star because those cheap plastic parts are overpriced (shame

Check with Delta first

We have a Delta Dryden single hole bathroom faucet. When I looked for the part on the Delta website it listed that part number so I ordered it. Not suitable. So I called Delta. It turns out there are 2 different aerators. One is 1.5 GPM and the other is 1.2 GPM. It's a 1.5 GPM aerator. They will send me the 1.5 and 1.2 filters to see which one fits. Since the mesh is green when I remove it, I'm guessing it's using 1.2 GPM. Two more things to know. If you have a Delta faucet, it's guaranteed for

Pros

Always buy two, good for aerator

. If you have one of these models, you will often need to replace the taps in your faucets. We moved into our new home about four years ago and have three faucets that they use. During this time I have replaced the aerator on all three at least twice or more. After all the construction work was done in our annex building, I was hoping that the incoming water would be a little cleaner. That didn't happen. If you have a water system that filters better, you may never need to touch these things…

Pros
  • . Highly rated by testers for hold and durability.
Cons
  • . Not as thick as other options.
