We used this as a rug in front of the sink in a Star Wars bathroom and it looks great. Firstly, for those who are wondering or wondering, I would not place it in a room as a shower rug as it is more of a dense pile rug not designed to absorb water. Coincidentally we had enough space to place it in front of the sink overlooking the room. There's enough detail on him to make him look pretty good from a standing position, and he could be positively identified as a hawk if you look a bit. More specific details are a bit off, but it's perfectly acceptable and to be expected. The description says it is a printed rug but fortunately not only has it been sprayed onto the fibers of the rug to make them hard and crunchy, the fibers appear to have been dyed to achieve the image. As someone else pointed out, it already has a rubber backing which is nice and prevents a little slippage. The fringe on this one is pretty good too, probably about half an inch and should help hold it together over time. Overall very happy with it.
