We love this toy! The child keeps returning to one of the toys throughout the day. took the sticks to play the xylophone. too sharp for her age. he would most likely be able to give them to her if she coordinated better and was less likely to gouge out her own eye. She has a wooden kitchen spoon that does the job so far :) One of the sliding wooden counting discs has cracked in half. can stick and jam. For me it's not that big that I would send it back. but if i gave it away i would come back for another one.
