I don't know who did the calculations. Before I bought them I asked why they look less than 3mm thick. Miraculously, the seller replied with elementary math (3mm is 0.11 inch). Having done this calculation long before the seller did, I figured if that's the case then I was interested. But no, their thickness is well under 3mm, they are a little thicker than a sheet of paper. I don't know in what world the seller thinks the paper is 0.11 inch thick but it isn't. This product is less than a millimeter thick. My guess? You meant 0.3mm thick, not 3mm. But the claim that these panels are 3mm thick is obviously false advertising. TLDR: They are currently advertised as thicker than they really are. They're not nearly as fat as they say they are. THEY ARE NOT 3MM THICK.
