Like a Hot Knife Through Butter

Concrete, then using this beast though heavy is so easy. - it literally slowly sinks into the concrete with minimal effort. The standard impact drill uses a clutch that not only rotates the drill but also vibrates very quickly but not very much - so the user has to make a lot of effort. Power to drill concrete. The hammer drill uses an electro-pneumatic piston to push the bit in and out. - This allows for a much stronger action on concrete, which means less effort is required from the operator. The reason for using the SDS chuck is that the hammering action in it is too strong for a standard chuck - the drill just stops turning. The rotating part can also be disabled, allowing the use of a chisel. Great for laying bathroom floor tiles - that's actually my next job for this unit, I expect it to be a breeze.

Pros
  • Has a built in clutch that cuts off torque transmission if the chisel gets stuck. Material: Metal, Plastic
