A simple way to combine old and new technologies
, non-digital receivers. I wanted to use my Blu-ray player with an old Sansui quad receiver, but the Blu-ray player didn't have analog outputs for audio. This small device serves as a link between these two technologies. By feeding a Blu-ray player's HDMI output through this unit and giving this little box the ability to convert digital to analog, I was able to use the RCA outputs on the box as an auxiliary input on a receiver, but still have a QS -Decoder in a surround sound receiver. The best part. This decision cost surprisingly little. I recommend this converter to anyone who wants to adapt new technology to old devices.
