Review on Seatery Strainer Universal Silicone Stainless by Raymond Wade

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Love them, works 10x better than any other I've tried!

Update: After some use I noticed that the cork doesn't suck as well as I thought it would. He slipped out of his seat several times and drained the water before I wanted it to. So I'm deducting a star for that. But I just slide it where it needs to be, which is still better than other stoppers I've tried. If the manufacturers could somehow make the suction power a little bit better, they would be perfect. I just received them and started using them and I love them. I've tried all sorts of screen and plug combinations and none of them work as they should. I finally found the solution I was looking for. I love that the strainer extends the rim to the sink instead of just sitting in the drain where food can still seep in through the rims. The mesh catches food that might seep through the drain holes in a traditional colander/dryer. I never managed to get the other view to work properly. They either stopped the drain when I didn't want it or drained it when the dishes got under the stem. The silicone stopper works great. At first I was afraid it wouldn't happen because it didn't stick to the sink before I poured the water. But once the water started flowing, it created a kind of suction. Washing dishes becomes less of a chore.

  • Not bad but...
