I have replaced both original magnetos on my 02' 325 Ci with these as they have failed (as you know ). After restarting the engine, I found that the low-end torque had recovered and the car was now much smoother to drive and used less fuel. However, this only lasted about a month and a half and as of this writing the car is back to its previous state of lost power. I was glad I spent a lot less on it than the original part, but I think you get what you pay for. Just buy original BMW parts, they will last a few hundred thousand kilometers.
