such a good price, so accurate.

Wow, that thing is freaking cool. It's a good price and it even outlived me. I connected it to a remote controlled RF switch which turns it on. When it exceeds the temperature I set, it turns on my battery-powered O2 Cool fan. Every time I turn off and then boot up, it still remembers the last set temperature. I thought it was cool. I love how accurate the LCD is to the decimal point and it seems to be quite accurate and detect temperature changes as I would expect. When the relay switches, it clicks pleasantly, like any relay. You can set the cooling mode (default) which turns on when the set temperature is exceeded and "heating" turns on until the set temperature is reached. Cons: It won't be Fahrenheit, and as an American, I blame our education system more than this product. The temperature sensor cable is not as long as I would like, it might be around 1-2 feet. I'm trying to extend it right now but the wires aren't marked +/- so I'm trying to figure out how to use my voltmeter. There's no cover for the buttons and it's a fairly rough finish that's only good for a cabinet. or something out of sight. Maybe there are drawers that I'm not aware of to hold the device and allow for button presses. The manual was difficult to read as it didn't exist. Turns out that 12v+/gnd goes to the battery, k0 and k1 switches (like a light switch where you cut the pos+ side and each wire goes to a terminal). So I connected a 1 inch cable to go from 12V to K1. Then pos which goes to my device in k0. (ground of my devices is connected to every ground)

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
