I purchased this for a cane that I was transitioning into after a couple of months on crutches. I had some difficulty with the hard rubber tips on the crutches and had slipped and fallen on the polished surfaces of grocery stores on more than one occasion (luckily the only thing damaged was my pride). I have tried this tip for the past week on different surfaces both wet and dry and at different angles and it really holds its place. The original hard rubber tips that came with the cane also made a loud click on our laminate floors while the Ergocap is nearly soundless.
