When I saw that the packaging said left-handed people, I was upset. So I went back to the item's Revain page and the description said it was right handed. I was very annoyed because I hadn't lost sight of it. However, it turned out that the labeling on the packaging was wrong and it was actually a right-hand thread. The moral of the story is that you can't automatically trust a package label without checking it. Anyway, I bought it for a '03 VW Jetta. I had to grind down the tabs on the round plate to fit the rear caliper. I rotated about 2/3 of the ones that were furthest apart (the ones that matched the caliper piston), then I rotated the ones that were closest 3/4 of the way. In other words, you grind the ones that are close to the caliper piston just enough for the plate to sit flush, and then grind the others all the way down to allow the entire shebang to fit into the caliper.
