Short battery life, long charge

Our five year old spent money on his birthday to buy it two days ago and he's already lost interest due to the battery life and time it takes to charge. Charging is also extremely cumbersome, because you have to unscrew the battery compartment and remove the battery to charge it. They need to be redesigned to slow you down so you can connect directly to the machine, especially when you can no longer play with it. A complete waste of money.
