Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

After five years of using the second version, I decided to buy this brother. Although the previous one was a great option, this one is really improved. Autofocus and vibration reduction are faster, quieter, and the picture is sharper even at the edges. Brings the subject closer. It seems that here it is not 200 mm, but 250. My opinion about it is for professionals. For beginners and intermediates, VRII is also quite suitable (also a very decent lens that has not been discontinued yet)

Pros

Sharp, even at the edges of the frame. The subject has become somehow closer, in an increased size compared to the previous VRII. 100 grams lighter

Cons

Although it is lighter by 100 grams than the second version, but one fig it is heavy. You walk with him for half a day and you already feel the weight. The price for it is good, just for home photography this is not worth buying. Also worth noting is the transfer of the focus ring to the end of the lens. Why the developers did this - I still do not understand.
