Bought this for my nephew's 4th birthday. He also loves construction trucks so that was perfect. He drove it all over the house. The detachable shovel is a nice feature as she loves playing in the sand and mud. He enjoys the freedom of riding this scooter while walking around the park. He can play with a shovel in the park. The scooter does not rotate which is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping onto a small toddler. I bought these together with (Geyoga 8 Piece Construction Clothes Role Play Accessory Construction Costume Set Accessory for Kids Birthday Theme Party Cosplay Yellow) and they were the perfect gift combination for a child who loves building and role play. He plays a master builder and spends hours fixing things. It's the perfect size for him and he'll be able to use it for a few more years.
