Before I got this I found the 12u in the kit for about $20 more and almost kicked myself. I thought it was "flexible" because it doesn't have cross braces or load triangulation plates, but it's thick metal, very thick. It seems heavy but strong, like all exits. It says 200lbs on it and I imagine you could sit 200lbs fully extended on the outside edge - it will hold it no problem as long as it doesn't tear off the wall. I'm a bit glad I got it instead of a closed one so I get better airflow.
