Review on πŸ”Œ Sintech M.2 (NGFF) NVME SSD to M.2 A/E Key WiFi Port Adapter with 20cm Cable (M.2 - PCIe 1X Lane) by Eric Timbeross

Works great on a Dell 3180

I needed to convert an NVME SSD from a standard 1-slot M2 to a 2-slot M2 that Dell uses for its internal Wi-Fi card becomes. This adapter, although a little pricey, did the job in my opinion. I then cloned the internal 32GB eMMC to the SSD and was somehow able to boot from the SSD. I upgraded the RAM, added a Wi-Fi adapter to one of the USB ports, and voila, the 3180 is a beautiful, light, durable, and functional laptop, not just a clunky laptop. This Sintech adapter was the key to everything. Definitely recommended. The ribbon cable was a little longer than needed for my purposes, but it was easy to bend to fit in the laptop bag.
