Review on Keyboard SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL RU Black USB SteelSeries Whisper-Quiet, black, Cyrillic QWERTY by Ognian Velikov ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It functions perfectly, nothing unusual.

I awarded this keyboard three out of five stars. The benefits of the keyboard hardly balance out the drawbacks, if at all. a little let down. And I can't say that I'd advise you to do that. Only if you test it out at the store to see if the tactile appeals to you. However, the game will still have a drawback in the shape of a curve that the application can use to adjust the lighting even in this scenario.

Pros
  • Compact keyboard; little less noise than mechanical ones. The panel under the ons makes the backlight pleasant. There are also volume controls (which I don't need) and the option to pause/resume media playback (which I also don't require).
Cons
  • - Height without a stand is about the same as with my last Razer. It becomes utterly painful for the hands if you put it on legs. Maybe I'm just not acclimated to it yet, but thus far I find it interesting. Those who enjoy tall keyboards will fit perfectly; - The high row of "Home," "Delete," and other keys prevents you from seeing the capsolca signal. The most obvious flaw is this. It is unknown why the manufacturer chose to install the capslock backlight in the most awkward location rather than, say, on the key itself; - The SteelSeries GG app's lighting adjustment is HORRIBLE. Everything is reset when it is totally closed, thus you must maintain the application open in the background at all times. Additionally, because both the "Smooth" option and the "Multicolored breath" option are inoperative, it is difficult to make the keyboard's color monotonous. To achieve the intended outcome, I had to manually highlight each area of the keyboard with a single color using the "Color shift" option; - Because "PgUp" or "Home" are so close to the high row, it is just inconvenient to have the sound volume control key and the ability to pause/resume media playback there; - Price. This is at least a thousand times higher than a membrane keyboard with a haphazard arrangement of capslock backlighting and a crooked application.
