I bought 2 of these speakers to replace a pair that are over 30 years old. They work great as part of my surround sound system, but the packaging was inadequate considering how shippers handle it. Not only were the boxes torn apart, but the feet of both speakers were so broken that they could no longer be repaired and were unusable. Luckily, they're not required, so don't ask for a refund or replacement. One of the speakers had a small scratch, but it didn't affect what the speaker was designed for - sound. If you don't mind factory seconds and useless bases, I think they're worth the money. Except for the bases, they work as intended.
