EDIT. qualitative. It worked great and looked great for the first few months, but after a few months it started clogging the tank and the blister couldn't get through. The description says that in this case you need to poke additional holes with a needle, and then it will work fine again. Well, that's not exact. The original holes all remained plugged, even after thorough cleaning. and then the new holes made with a very, very small needle turned out to be HUGE. and the blisters were massive after I did that. They were so large that all the air came out of the first quarter/half of the hose and the rest was bubble free. Check out the pictures for reference. I won't buy any more like I thought at first. It didn't work for long. As a result, I took it out of the tank and will no longer be using it. It was great at first, but then it sucked. Does what I expected, I gave it 4 stars because after cleaning when algae started growing on it the blister got even worse. I assume it's because the purge is causing some of the holes to close up. I've read that you can just use a needle and make new holes, which seems pretty easy, I haven't done that yet. I would definitely buy again. Looks great, lots of bubbles, good for the price
