
For 25 years, I believed that a hard drive could not be killed with normal use. Until now, in my old computers, I have old disks that are up to 10 years old, albeit as a second or third. This one was in an Acer laptop bought in early 2022. I understand that a laptop has its own maintenance nuances, but in my old laptops, disks have never failed.
