Review on Hawk Lapel Mic with Quick Release Adapter - Motorola APX6000 APX7000 XPR Radio (Black Tube) by Peter Zouhair

Second time buying from Revain. Just because I bought one for my husband. I've been using this brand for 15 years but bought direct from the company. I love it. It takes some getting used to as it's a lot smaller than the standard mic that comes with radios. I like the quick release because it makes going to the toilet easier. Attaching it isn't a problem either, as long as you're careful not to try to push the pins into the connector. I slowly twist it until it aligns, then push it in. When I first bought one I drew a line on both pieces so I could line them up that way. The included earbuds suck, as do any other off-the-shelf items you can buy. They always hurt my ear after a few hours of wearing or make it hard to hear from that ear. I went to a hearing aid store and they made me an earbud and I've been using the same one for 11 years. I've included a photo of the one my husband took of the tactile vest. By the way, it still works.
